How AAT Kings tours work
AAT Kings tours follow a set itinerary, taking you through New Zealand’s key regions without needing to plan the details yourself. Transport, accommodation and many experiences are included, so each day is organised in advance.
You’ll travel by coach between destinations, with regular stops to take in the scenery and break up the journey. Your Travel Director manages the day to day flow, sharing local insight and making sure everything runs smoothly.
Classic tours and small group options
AAT Kings offers two main styles of touring. Classic tours are the more traditional coach experience, with groups of up to 48 travellers. They are generally more budget friendly and include a balance of highlights and free time.
Small Group tours are limited to around 24 travellers, offering a more in depth experience. These tours often include additional inclusions and sometimes more unique places to stay, while maintaining a similar overall structure.
Both options offer a comfortable standard of accommodation and a well organised journey.

Prefer something more flexible?

MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experiences focus on sustainability and supporting local communities, offering a more meaningful way to connect with New Zealand’s environment and culture. On selected tours, Be My Guest dining experiences take you beyond restaurants and into more personal settings, such as private homes or local farms, adding a different perspective to your journey.
