Auckland to Christchurch Hiking Exploration

Experience the world-renowned Tongariro Crossing, one of the finest day hikes on the planet. From there, travel south, cross the Cook Strait, and journey along the scenic Pacific Coast to Kaikōura and on to Christchurch. Continue to Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park before heading further south into the breathtaking Southern Lakes region. Here, enjoy a fully guided 3-day / 2-night walk on the iconic Routeburn Track. After returning to Queenstown, venture north to explore the glacier region, then conclude your journey with a spectacular ride aboard the TranzAlpine Scenic Train back to Christchurch.
